Cruciferous Vegetables

Cruciferous vegetables are vegetables from the family Brassicaceae. All of them contain phytochemical, vitamins and minerals and fibre that are important of optimal health.   This family of vegetables are taken into Treatment Consideration when we are looking elevated Progesterone and elevated Oestradiol Levels (estrogen)

There is a supplement call Indole 3-carbinol that contains the above vegetables when they have been cut open, chewed or cooked,  but if we have the option I believe that it is good the eat the food option.

Examples of cruciferous vegetables are Cauliflower, Cabbage, Garden Cress, Boy Chow, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts and similar green leaf vegetables.
